The players will compete in professional, semi-professional and amateur divisions for total prizes of over VND280 million (US$13,440), sponsored primarily by the Anh Duong Vietnam Join Stock Company.
The professional division will include nearly 50 leading Vietnamese players and eight foreigners from the United States, Denmark, France and Ukraine.
The 11th annual tournament is co-organised by the Phu My Hung Corporation, the Ho Chi Minh City Tennis Union and the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the District 7 Sports Centre.
