Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan paid homage and offered incense to late General Secretaries Tran Phu, Ha Huy Tap and Le Duan at their memorial sites in Ha Tinh province on July 22.
She also visited and presented gifts to the families of policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged students in Duc Tho and Cam Xuyen districts and Ha Tinh city.
During the visits, the State official asked the provincial Party committee and local authorities to pay greater attention to caring for policies beneficiaries and ensuring the welfare of local people.
Also on July 22, the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee held a meeting to celebrate the 76th anniversary of Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day, gathering 81 wounded soldiers and revolutionary contributors in the city.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh municipal Party Committee stressed that the authorities and people always remember the great contribution and services of wounded and fallen soldiers to national independence and freedom.

Leaders of Tuyen Quang province have visited and delivered more than 16,500 gifts worth over 6.8 billion VND to policy beneficiaries and national contributors living in the province on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27, 1947 – 2023).
During the visits, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Chuu Van Lam expressed his gratitude for the great contributions of war veterans and policy families to national liberation and reunification.
On July 21 and 22, the Saigon Newport Corporation in coordination with Vietnamese naval forces and the Kon Tum Provincial Party Committee saluted and presented gifts worth more than 70 million VND to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the province.
They also handed over five social houses worth 80 million VND each to families of policy beneficiaries and national contributors in Sa Thay, Kon Plong, Dak Glei and Dak To districts.
