The burger was created by chef Hoang Tung, the founder of Pizza Home brand in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Hoang Tung said he dreamed up the burgers, which feature green-tea stained buns with tiny "crowns" designed to look like microscopic images of the virus, to take the fear out of the infectious disease.
He also shared that he was very proud to be interviewed directly by experienced reporter David Eades on BBC News.
The live interview on the coronavirus-themed burger conveyed a message of positive thought, joy and smiles during this difficult pandemic period.
The BBC's news report highlighted several important facts - “153 confirmed cases, 20 recovered, and no deaths recorded”, highlighting Vietnam’s stellar efforts in controlling the epidemic.
