According to Tran le, who propagated cherry blossoms on Pa Khoang flower island, the area is home to around 100,000 cherry blossom trees, nearly 5,000 of which are currently blooming brilliantly.
Le started planting cherry blossoms in Muong Phang Commune in 2006 after he was presented with 10 seedlings by an official from the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam.
With the beginning of the spring, the cherry blossoms are beginning to bloom vibrantly in shades of white, pink, and red.
