Documents, images, and artefacts on Quan Ho Singing on display

As part of the activities celebrating the 15th anniversary of Quan Ho (Love Duet) Singing from Bac Ninh being recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, an exhibition themed “Bac Ninh’s Quan Ho Singing - Enduring and Spreading” officially opened at Bac Ninh Museum.

With over 200 images, documents, and artefacts from the Bac Ninh Provincial Museum's collection and contributions from relevant organisations, individuals, and local authorities, the exhibition is divided into three main themes: the origins and development of Quan Ho Singing; the enduring and spreading nature of Quan Ho Singing, showcasing the vitality of the heritage within the community; and the preservation and promotion of Quan Ho Singing.

Visitors to the exhibition will gain additional information and a deeper understanding of the value of Quan Ho Singing from Bac Ninh Province. During the opening of the exhibition, there was an interactive experience activity between the original Quan Ho villages and the practising Quan Ho villages.

With its immense multi-faceted value, Quan Ho Singing from Bac Ninh was officially recognised by UNESCO, as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
