Eighty-two individuals honoured with “October 15” Award

The 2023 “October 15” Award Council has decided to select 82 individuals with outstanding achievements in the Vietnam Youth Federation (VYF)’s work and the youth movement over the past year.

According to reports from the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee, this year, the award recorded a total of 127 applications submitted by 54 units from provinces and cities.

Among them, in terms of ethnic composition, 116 individuals are Kinh people (accounting for 91.34%) and 11 individuals are ethnic minorities (accounting for 8.66%) ­— specifically including the following ethnic groups: Ma, H'Mong, Tay, Thai, Muong, Hoa, and Giay.

The award ceremony is expected to be held in Thai Nguyen province ) on the afternoon of October 14, on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of the traditional day of the VYF (October 15, 1956- October 15, 2023).

The "October 15" Award is a noble reward from the VYF to award outstanding officials, members, and young people with outstanding achievements in the Vietnam Youth Federation (VYF)'s work and the youth movement.
