Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Thi Tuyen, member of the Party Central Committee and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, said: “Currently, in the capital, there are nearly 400 cultural and sports institutions, forming a quality and large-scale system, associated with rapid and sustainable socio-economic development, contributing to improving the local appearance as well as the quality of life and needs of the people.”

She believes that Hanoi Children's Palace, with its new look, modern architecture, spaciousness, closeness to nature, and use of many smart devices, will promote its role as a cultural and sports centre, meeting the needs of living, studying, playing, competing in sports and physical training, creating a favourable environment for the development of future talents of Hanoi City.
At the ceremony, delegates cut the ribbon and performed the ceremony of attaching the signboard of Hanoi Children's Palace as a project to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the capital city.

On this occasion, representatives of Hanoi City leaders presented the painting "Uncle Ho with Children" to Hanoi Children's Palace and the capital's children and presented certificates of merit to five individuals with outstanding achievements in directing and implementing the project to build Hanoi Children's Palace and implementing related activities of the Palace.
