The event is organised annually in November by the Da Nang City Museum to mark the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23).

Visitors to this year’s festival had the opportunity to take part in various activities to explore the history, culture, and typical architectural buildings in Da Nang City.

Prominent among these activities were the final round of the competition to make models of typical architectural buildings in Da Nang, a photo exhibition featuring the temples and communal houses in the city, and a display of sketches and paintings recalling the time when Da Nang was under the rule of French colonialists.

A handicraft fair featuring products and souvenirs made by disadvantaged people community in the city was also organised during the festival.
