The Party Central Commission for Communication and Education, in coordination with the General Department of Politics under the Vietnam People’s Army and the Hanoi People’s Committee, chaired the event.
This is a practical activity to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi (October 10), the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22), the 35th anniversary of the National Defence Day (December 22) and the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18).
The event saw the presence of Politburo members: Nguyen Hoa Binh, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister; Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Commission for Communication and Education; General Phan Van Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of Defence; and Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Head of the Hanoi City National Assembly Delegation.
The programme brought together the participation of nearly 500 artists and actors.
