In Rio de Janeiro, thousands of attendees were delighted and joyful wearing traditional conical hats and exploring many typical cultural features of Vietnam, such as making “to he” figurines, printing Dong Ho paintings and enjoying brewed coffee in the “Hanoi Old Quarter” area.
Also within the programme’s framework, a photo exhibition celebrating the 35th anniversary of Vietnam-Brazil diplomatic relations with many valuable photos and documents has depicted important milestones in the friendly relationship between the two countries.
The exhibitions “Vietnamese Cultural Heritage”, “Colours of Vietnam”, and the wall about 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups contributed to introducing and promoting a Vietnam that preserves the quintessence of a thousand-year culture and strongly strives in the era of integration and prosperity.
In particular, the lacquer painting exhibition entitled “Spreading Traditional Colours”, with the participation of artists from both countries, highlights the unique cultural exchange and conveys the message of the strong friendship between the two countries through the delicate language of art.
In particular, “Vietnam Day in Brazil 2024” took place on the threshold of the G20 Summit. This is when the 20 largest economies on the planet and many member countries gather together, an opportunity for the programme to contribute to spreading content and activities to the Brazilian people and many international friends.
