The audience at the event was entertained with 12 Quan Ho performances, which were brought to the stage by artists from the Bac Ninh Folk Singing Theatre.

The programme also featured beautiful melodies of Vi-Dam and Don Ca Tai Tu folk singing, which are also listed by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage of humanity. The songs were performed by artists from the Ha Tinh Provincial Centre for Culture and Cinematography and the Tay Ninh Provincial Culture Centre.

The event aimed to honour the value of Quan Ho folk singing while creating an opportunity for local singers to meet with each other and exchange experiences in practicing the heritage within the community.

It also sought to raise people’s awareness of preserving and promoting the traditional culture of the country.
