The festival was the opening event among a series of activities being held under the ‘Ha Long – City of Festivals’ projects.
The festival featured performances of around 50 vehicles, including sailboats, jet skis, and parasailing from clubs from both inside and outside Quang Ninh Province.
According to Vice Chairman of the Ha Long City People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Son, the festival is expected to become an annual event with the aim to promote local tourism by offering a new tourism product of Quang Ninh Province.
It also aims to provide a venue for those who share a passion for adventure sports such as sailing, jet skiing, and paragliding.
