The event was jointly held by the Society of Vietnamese Buddhists in Russia and Incentra, owner of the Hanoi-Moscow Trade and Culture Complex.

Artists from Vietnam and the Vietnamese community in Russia brought the atmosphere of their homeland to those living away from home with performances of xam, chau van and poem recitation.

In his address, Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Nguyen Thanh Son highly evaluated this event, considering it a precious gift to Vietnamese people studying and living in Russia.

He also took the occasion to convey his best wishes to the Vietnamese community here.

For more than two hours, traditional performing arts and famous Vietnamese songs were greeted with great fanfare from the audience, notably the performance of the len dong rituals, which were recently recognised as heritage of humanity by UNESCO.
