The information was released by the Lao Dong (Labour) Newspaper at a press conference on July 3.
Themed “Emulating to follow Uncle Ho’s teachings”, the programme is part of activities marking the 50th anniversary of the sacred testament of President Ho Chi Minh.
The honourees are examples of people who have uphold their creativity and efforts to accomplish outstanding achievements, significantly contributing to the country’s development. They were selected carefully, objectively and conscientiously and their achievements were recognised by the Party and State agencies.
Seven outstanding collectives include: the Military Medical Academy, Flight Regiment 919, Vietnam Airlines, Viettel Business Solutions Corporation, TH Group, the Vietnam National Space Centre, the Medical Examination Department under the Ministry of Health, and the Department of Foreign Affairs under the Ministry of Defence.
The annual programme, initiated in 2004, has honoured hundreds of typical collectives and individuals and has become a prestigious event leaving a good impression for society as a whole.
This year’s event will be broadcast on VTV1 channel.
