The event is jointly held by the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter, the B52 Victory Museum, Hanoi High Command, and the Vietnam Military History Museum.

It is among a series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (1954-2024) and the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (1975-2024).

The 70 photos on display are arranged into three topics, introducing the public to the globe-shaking Dien Bien Phu Victory; the 1975 Spring General Offensive and the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign to liberate the south and reunite the country; and the bond between three cities of Hanoi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City.

The exhibits were selected from the collection of the B52 Victory Museum.

The exhibition will open to the public until May 31.
