Over 40 years of development, as a key force in the fight against crime, the Guard Police has contributed greatly to maintaining political security and social order and safety.
The force has successfully protected important political, economic, diplomatic, scientific-technical, and socio-cultural targets in the country; as well as ensured the safety at major events and festivals.
At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State, Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan presented the Feat-of-Arms Order, Third-class to the force.
In addition, two collectives and eight individuals also received certificates of merit by the MPS.
