In recent times, the Party Committee of the Ministry has closely coordinated with the locality to implement support for building charity houses for families in difficult circumstances.
The Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction has awarded 1.6 billion VND to support the construction of 40 houses for poor households in Phan Thanh Commune.
Vi Van Phu, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Phan Thanh Commune, said that after receiving the registration document for support for house construction from the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction, the commune quickly reviewed, evaluated, and devised a list of 40 poor households facing difficult housing circumstances in the commune, to request support.
To date, 25 out of the 40 households have completed construction, 7 households are completing work, and 8 households will start construction in 2025.
Through support from the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction, it has contributed to helping Phan Thanh Commune effectively implement social security policies, eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area, and build new rural areas in mountainous areas and ethnic minority areas, he noted.
