The e-government system, based on a modern information technology platform for access and sharing information, will provide a single portal for all services to municipal citizens and enterprises.
The rollout of the system is expected to enhance the effect of administrative reform by reducing time, procedures and costs while creating an image of friendly and professional public servants.
The Ngo Quyen district authorities say they aim to provide 53 public services through this system in 2015.
With the e-government system, Hai Phong citizens will be provided with personal accounts to manage their transactions with the government, use online public services, pay administrative fees and submit personal requests online.
