The event is within the framework of the 2023 Hanoi Autumn Festival, taking place from September 29 to October 1.

Hanoi now has six golf course clusters, with ten famous and classy branded competition courses such as Long Bien Golf Course, Van Tri Golf Club, Kings Island Golf, Minh Tri Golf Course and Legend Hill Golf Resort. In addition, there are also more than 10 large golf practice courses such as the Dao Sen golf practice course and the Hanoi Club golf practice course. These are advantages that create an important foundation for Hanoi to develop golf tourism products in the near future.

The current difficulty of MICE tourism in Hanoi and other localities is the lack of venues that organise large international events or those that can attract 1,000 guests or more. The services and facilities to meet the needs of this high-end guest line also face many limitations. The immediate solution to overcome this situation is to use public places, such as parks and stadiums. In the long term, it is crucial to have macro policies, guidance and orientation from the State and state management agencies.

At the conference, the delegates frankly contributed many ideas to increase the attraction of tourists to this product line, while also pointing out limitations and difficulties in linking travel businesses, services, transportation, hotels, destinations, and golf courses, towards developing products that attract customers.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA) Nguyen Thi Mai Anh, expressed her wish that in the coming time, the travel agencies will participate more actively in connecting service industries, transportation, destinations and golf courses.

The combination of MICE and Golf tourism types will be a great advantage to help Hanoi develop a new and potential product, which can generate tourism revenue in the near future.
