The tour, developed by Meta Platforms, Inc. and Oxalis tour operator, allows viewers to explore Son Doong — the largest natural cave in the world — through a 360-degree video using Meta's Quest 2 and Quest 3 headsets.
With this technology, users can feel as if they are standing inside the world's largest cave, surrounded by giant stalactites, hearing the wind whistling through the rocks, and witnessing the magical beauty of nature up close.
President of Global Affairs at Meta Nick Clegg, and US Ambassador to Vietnam Marc E. Knapper were among the participants to experience the Son Doong virtual reality tour at Meta's pavilion at the event.
Images of Quang Binh’s national landscapes, such as Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park and the Tan Hoa tourism village are also being introduced to visitors at the event.
