The event was held in both in-person and online formats in the presence of Politburo member and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen.
The Directive No.05-CT/TW on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle has created a spillover effect among Party members and people, contributing to fulfilling political tasks in localities, agencies, units and others.
At the event, 371 role-models in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and morality were commended, including 145 collectives and 226 individuals.
In addition, the organising board also praised 395 outstanding collectives and individuals who have contributed to directing and organising the implementation of Directive No.05 over the past five years.
Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen emphasised that the role-models commended today are typical examples in studying, working, and following Uncle Ho's example, thus contributing to making this life more beautiful, civilised, and compassionate.
