Building on the success of the two previous phases, the new project continues to provide fully funded seven-year scholarships, from the 2025–2026 academic year through to the end of 2031–2032, accompanying the girls from high school to the completion of university.
The project will support 35 ethnic minority schoolgirls from across the country with outstanding academic performance, a strong will to rise above their circumstances, and a desire to contribute to their communities. The scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses, and includes soft skills training and career orientation programmes.
Truong My Hoa, former Vice President of Viet Nam and Chairwoman of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, stated: “Through the connection efforts of the two organisations, we aim to help these girls light up their futures and gain access to knowledge that can change their lives.”
Launched in 2010, the “Pathway to the Future” programme has awarded scholarships to 100 ethnic minority schoolgirls across its first two phases, with total funding of more than 18.5 billion VND.
All recipients successfully completed high school and pursued higher education at universities or colleges, with a graduation rate of up to 99%.
Surveys show that between 90% and 100% of graduates have found employment that is appropriate to or closely related to their field of study.
