‘Hoc khong bao gio cung’ scholarships presented to 250 learners

As many as 250 people, both children and adults, were granted the ‘Hoc khong bao gio cung’ (Learning never ends) scholarships by the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education (VAPE) at a ceremony in Hanoi on July 14.

The scholarship winners are from 16 provinces and cities in the Central-Central Highlands region.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented the scholarships to 250 outstanding learners, including 165 students at primary to high school levels and 85 adults.

The youngest is a second grader in Khanh Hoa province and the oldest is an 84 year-old in Da Nang. They have made great efforts to overcome difficulties in life to pursue their study with good results regardless of age and circumstance.

The Vice President emphasised the scholarship winners will spread the spirit of fondness for lifelong learning among others in the community.

The ‘Hoc khong bao gio cung’ scholarships have been organised by the VAPE in all regions across the country over the past three years with many positive spillover effects on the community.
