More than 300 purple ‘mua’ trees have been planted by the owner of this oolong tea plantation for over 10 years.
These trees are planted along the edges of the tea plantation, spanning dozens of hectares.

From the centre of Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province, it takes about 20 minutes of travel towards Dam Bri Waterfall to reach the tea plantation and admire the purple flowers alongside the lush green tea hills.

This is a variety of melastoma imported from Australia. When fully grown, the plants can reach over 3 meters in height and spread 3 to 5 meters. Their flowers are dark purple with thick and large petals.
