Global gold prices extended their decline on July 1, trading at 3,971.8 USD per ounce as investors continued to sell off the precious metal amid persistently high interest rates. In the domestic market, SJC-branded gold bar prices fell for a third consecutive day, with buying and selling prices quoted at 143.4 million VND and 146.4 million VND per tael, respectively.
