The festival featured nearly 30 circus acts by more than 100 artists from four Vietnamese troupes, in addition to five international troupes from Canada, Belarus, Laos, Cambodia, and Egypt.

At the closing ceremony, three gold medals were presented to three circus acts by practitioners from the Vietnam Circus Federation, the Vietnam School of Circus and Variety Arts, and Phuong Nam Arts Theatre.

The organising board also awarded eight silver and three bronze medals along with sub-prizes to the best choreographer, the best coach, and the best group of artists.

Addressing the closing ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong affirmed that the festival has helped to tighten solidarity, friendship, cooperation and cultural exchange between circus performers in Vietnam and around the world.

The event also offered a good opportunity for participating artists to exchange and gain new experiences towards the further development of circus in the world.
