The event at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism has been held regularly in recent years.
The activities include the installation of a New Year’s cay neu (a traditional bamboo pole) and Chung cake wrapping on January 19.
The organising board plans to prepare approximately 660 gift packages (valued at 1 to 2 million VND each) from sponsored contributions to present to policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged households in Thanh Hoa, Tuyen Quang, Hanoi, and others.
The activity aims to showcase the unique cultural traditions of celebrating Vietnam’s Lunar New Year, especially among the younger generation and ethnic communities, contributing to the preservation, promotion, and development of Vietnam’s traditional cultural values.
This event is also an opportunity for generations of Vietnamese people to demonstrate solidarity, mutual support, and compassion, looking forward to a peaceful and prosperous new year.
