On behalf of the Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee, and the Viet Nam Father Front (VFF) Committee of Ha Noi, Hoai conveyed deep concern for the severe losses suffered by residents, particularly in areas most affected by the recent storm.
She expressed her belief that, with the support of the Party, State, and other localities, and through the determination and unity of its officials, armed forces, and people, Nghe An province will soon overcome the current challenges, recover from the disaster, and stabilise the life of affected residents.
Ha Noi has allocated 5 billion VND (196,000 USD) to support Nghe An in overcoming the aftermath of storm Wipha, which recently caused extensive floods, landslides, and damage to infrastructure and livelihoods in the central province.
* The teaching staff of the Cay Tre (Bamboo) Vietnamese Language School in Japan has donated one tonne of rice to the Nghe An branch of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee, in support of local residents affected by the flooding.

This gesture not only exemplifies the Vietnamese tradition of solidarity and mutual assistance, but also offers a meaningful lesson in compassion and social responsibility for Vietnamese students to emulate.
* Four additional military flights are scheduled to deliver essential supplies to communities cut off by flooding in the central province of Nghe An on 25 July, according to the National Civil Defence Steering Committee.
On 24 July, in accordance with a directive from the Ministry of National Defence, the General Staff of the Viet Nam People’s Army deployed a working group to the province to oversee emergency relief efforts in areas rendered inaccessible by floodwaters.
The Rescue and Relief Department, operating under the General Staff, coordinated six aid flights on 24 July, delivering approximately 18 tonnes of supplies to the communes of Tuong Duong, Ky Son, My Ly, Nhon Mai, and Con Cuong.
