Minister works with Binh Luc District on building advanced new-style rural areas

A working delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development led by Le Minh Hoan, Member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, worked with the People's Committee of Binh Luc District, Ha Nam Province on experience in building advanced new-style rural areas on August 10.

Exchanging and sharing some contents from the practical leadership and direction of agricultural economic development and new-style rural construction, Minister Le Minh Hoan affirmed the importance of communication work, enhancing OCOP products and local agricultural products, to gradually increase people's income, all while paying attention to investment, and improving the environmental landscape associated with developing eco-tourism and craft villages, with a focus on the issue of preserving and developing cultural values in building new-style rural areas.

Regarding ecological agriculture, modern rural areas and civilised and wealthy farmers, the Minister emphasised that Binh Luc District needs to continue to synchronously and drastically implement tasks and solutions according to Conclusion No.54 of the Politburo, on continuing to implement Resolution No.7 of the 10th Party Central Committee on agriculture, farmers and rural areas. Also Resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee, the Plan of the Provincial People's Committee on building new-style rural areas, and to focus on consolidating and improving criteria towards sustainability and promoting agricultural industrialisation.

The Minister hoped that in the coming time, Binh Luc will continue to promote the achieved results, actively learn and innovate based on the actual conditions of the locality, in carrying out the task of building new-style rural areas, according to the motto that building new rural areas is not only about building infrastructure, but also about building new people with new thinking and vision.
