Politburo member and Minister of Public Security Gen. Tran Dai Quang made the statement while attending a ceremony in Hanoi on April 15 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the force’s foundation.
Minister Quang hailed the efforts and outstanding achievements of the force’s officers and soldiers. He also affirmed that the Party and State and the Ministry of Public Security always pay great attention to building a revolutionary, regular, elite and modern mobile police force.
He suggested that the force continue doing its utmost to fulfil its duties in the context of increasingly complicated and unforeseeable developments in the region and around the world.
Over the past 40 years of development, the force has successfully protected important political, economic, diplomatic, scientific-technical, and socio-cultural events in the country. It has also played a key force in the fight against crime and social evils.
Also on this occasion, the Mobile Police Force was awarded with the Ho Chi Minh Order.
