NA Standing Committee gives opinions on preparation of NA’s second extraordinary session

At the 17th session, the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee will give initial opinions on the preparation of the 2nd extraordinary session of the 5th session of the 15th NA.

As expected, the 17th session of the NA Standing Committee will take place on November 28 under the chair of NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, with the aim to consider and give opinions on a number of important contents.

Specifically, the NA Standing Committee will consider the allocation of development investment capital from the remaining central budget during the 2021-2025 period for three national target programmes and additional foreign capital for the national target programme for building new style rural areas in the 2021-2025 period, as well as the adjustment of on-lending capital plans of localities in 2022.

At the same time, the NASC will give opinions on the summary of the 4th session and initial comments on the preparation of the second extraordinary session of the 5th session of the 15th NA.

In addition, the NASC will consider and approve the proposal of the Prime Minister regarding the appointment and dismissal of Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
