Ho Chi Minh City beat Hanoi 3-1 in the final match to dominate the men’s category while Nghe An came in third.
In the women’s event, Hanoi took first place, followed by Quang Ninh and Nghe An.
The championships opened on April 1 and drew the participation of more than 200 martial artists from nine teams including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Soc Trang, Dong Nai, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Bac Giang, Quang Ninh and People’s Police.
The annual tournament aims to select the outstanding athletes for the national team in preparation for upcoming regional and international competitions.
