Synchronous and modern infrastructure

Since the beginning of the 2023 summer, visitors to the islands of Co To and Van Don have been excited to visit the beautiful and modern Ao Tien Premium Port. Inaugurated at the end of April 2023, Ao Tien Premium Port designed on the theme of green space that can simultaneously accommodate 150 cruise ships, which have sizes of up to 300 seats. Currently, the port has more than 60 vehicles operating to transport passengers along six island routes in Van Don and Co To districts.

Along with Tuan Chau International Passenger Port and Ha Long International Passenger Port, Ao Tien Premium Port, the operation of Ao Tien Premium Port has created a synchronous, modern, and classy port infrastructure to serve the province’s sea and island tourism. The new port also opens a gateway to the province's islands, thereby increasing the experience for tourists.

In addition to port infrastructure, sea and island tourism accommodation facilities in the province have also received more diverse investment, meeting new trends. Dau Rong (Dragon's Head) Resort, which has been just put into operation in June, is among the outstanding tourism products. This is the first 5-star resort on Cai Chien Island with 42 high-quality bungalows. It is the result of Hai Ha District's efforts to attract investment, creating a driving force for the island commune's tourism to develop rapidly. From the beginning of 2023 until now, Cai Chien Commune has welcomed more than 40,000 visitors, up 30% over the same period last year. Head of the Culture and Information Office of Hai Ha District Bui Thanh Tuan said sea and island tourism in Cai Chien is one of the key development directions of the district, thereby connecting and developing diverse types of experiential tourism, spiritual tourism, eco-tourism, and community-based tourism. Experience products are shaped towards sustainability and promoting the potentials and advantages of diversity in nature and culture.
