Nhan Dan Newspaper’s innovations impress People's Daily of China delegation

Le Quoc Minh, Party Central Committee (PCC) member and Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, hosted a reception for a delegation from the People's Daily of China led by its Editor-in-Chief Chen Jianwen at Nhan Dan Newspaper’s headquarters on March 24.

Welcoming the Chinese delegates, Minh, who is also Deputy Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Mass Mobilisation and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists' Association, emphasised that their visit contributes to further enhancing exchanges and cooperation between the two newspapers, while also strengthening mutual understanding and friendship between the two Parties, states, and peoples.

He noted that Nhan Dan is affirming its leading position in the country's press system, serving as a broad forum for the people.

The newspaper is continuously modernising both its content and form across print, online publications, and social media platforms to reach the readers more effectively, especially the youth, he said.

In recent years, Nhan Dan has consistently implemented special information and communication projects, which have been highly evaluated at domestic and international press and media awards.

For his part, Chen Jianwen expressed his hope that the two newspapers will strengthen exchanges in editorial management experiences to attract readers in the context of rapidly developing technology and science.

He also expressed his impression on Nhan Dan Newspaper’s unique products and creative combination of print and electronic media.

He stated that People's Daily of China will continue to expand international cooperation activities and organise press and media events in the future, thus he looks forward to the participation of Nhan Dan Newspaper representatives at these events.

The editor-in-chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper gladly accepted the invitation and expressed his hope that the cooperation between the two media agencies will become more cohesive and effective.
