Under the new pricing, E5RON92 petrol is capped at 19,226 VND (0.73 USD) per litre, up 88 VND, while the RON95-III petrol price does not exceed 19,903 VND per litre, up 174 VND.
In contrast, diesel 0.05S is sold at no more than 18,423 VND per litre, down 181 VND; kerosene at 18,406 VND per litre, down 28 VND; and mazut 180CST 3.5S at 14,371 VND per kilogramme, down 437 VND.
Since the start of the year, domestic fuel prices have been adjusted 43 times. The RON95 petrol price has risen 24 times and fallen 19 times, while that of diesel has increased 21 times, decreased 21 times, and remained unchanged once.
For this adjustment, authorities opted not to use the fuel price stabilisation fund.
