The award ceremony was held by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in the southern province of Binh Duong on May 13, aiming to honour and encourage young workers who have demonstrated high skills and creative solutions that provide socio-economic efficiency.

They are typical examples, representing millions of young workers, artisans, and students at vocational schools across the country who are doing their best in the cause of national industrialisation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Politburo member and Head of the Party Central Committee's Economic Commission Tran Tuan Anh affirmed that youngsters are the leading force in the cause of building and developing the country, with the ability to master science and technology alongside their enthusiasm, endurance, and desire to assert themselves in new and hard work. They have shown dynamic, sensitive, and active preparation towards setting up their careers.

The Politburo member expressed his wish that the winners would continue to hone their skills to become the core force in leading the country to overcome the challenges related to labour productivity, economic restructuring, climate change, and an aging population.

He also urged the authorities and localities concerned to focus on training and improving the skills for young workers, while regularly praising and honouring teachers, administrators, and artisans in job training.

Politburo member Tran Tuan An also asked the Youth Union to promote revolutionary movements among its members to encourage creativeness for each youth group, especially among young workers.
