After the journey across the sea and thousands of km by road, all firecrackers were safely arranged in a Da Nang warehouse two weeks before the first team’s arrival, waiting for the show.

Featuring 46,561 fireworks, with over 180 different types, each team scripted their own performances.

Nancy Rozzi, team leader of the Rozzi Fireworks team from the US, said that the designers of each team used script writing software and created a virtual programme to realise their ideas.

Unique colours and shapes will be the highlight of the fireworks performances. She noted that music selection when planning the script is also extremely important.

Some teams have to mobilise up to 400 people to conduct their performance, including experts, technicians, fire and explosion safety experts, and others.
