On April 22, the Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, held a press conference to provide information about the festival.
This event is among numerous activities organised by the Southeastern Province of Dong Nai to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975-2025).
The festival aims to promote the history and artistic value of Dong Nai ceramics, while introducing the appeal of hot air balloons – an eco-friendly, green tourism sport type.
The event is intended to boost tourism and create development opportunities for related services such as dining, accommodation, and entertainment.
It is also a valuable opportunity for Dong Nai to foster connections and exchanges with domestic and international partners, expanding cooperation in culture, trade, and tourism, thereby contributing to the local economy.
At the ceramics festival, activities will include an exhibition of unique ceramic artworks from Dong Nai and other renowned ceramic regions across the country, a seminar on preserving and developing traditional ceramic crafts in the era of integration, a logo and brand identity design contest for the Bien Hoa-Dong Nai Traditional Ceramics Festival, presentations on the history, production process, and evolution of Bien Hoa ceramics, and tours of the Tan Hanh Ceramic Industrial Cluster.
