Among the standout features of this year’s festival are the launch of the innovative “Sea of Lights Party” art space and a programme honouring Da Nang’s traditional tourist cyclo team, thereby promoting the image of a civilised coastal city rich in identity.
The “Sea of Lights Party” series runs from 6pm to 10pm over three consecutive evenings, from July 24 to 26, 2026, on the beach north of East Sea Park. This marks the first time Da Nang has introduced a distinctive night-time tourism product that skilfully combines light art, music, cuisine and the coastal setting.
In addition to enjoying the artistic lighting displays, visitors can immerse themselves in a multisensory experience featuring gentle acoustic music and a range of artistic performances.
At the food area, visitors have the opportunity to sample set menus featuring the distinctive flavours of Quang Nam and Da Nang, while grilling sweet potatoes and corn over glowing charcoal to the sound of the waves.
Earlier, on the afternoon of July 23, 2026, also at East Sea Park, the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Centre organised the programme “Accompanying Tourist Cyclos – Promoting the Image of a Friendly Da Nang”.
At the programme, Da Nang’s tourist cyclo team, established in 2003 and currently comprising 83 members, received new uniforms. The outfit includes a long-sleeved shirt and baseball cap in a predominantly yellow colour scheme, featuring a minimalist design inspired by the theme “Return to Origins”.
Beyond refreshing their appearance, the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Centre is also developing three themed cyclo experiences in 2026 under the concept “Touch”, combining sightseeing and cultural exploration with a multilingual automated commentary system.
The donation of the new cyclo uniforms was supported by H.I.S. Han River Viet Nam Tourism Company Limited. The activity also marked the beginning of the implementation of a memorandum of understanding between the two organisations to strengthen the promotion of Da Nang tourism in the Japanese market during the 2026–2027 period.
Under the agreement, the two sides will coordinate communication campaigns across H.I.S.’s platforms, organise promotional activities in Tokyo, participate in the Kanagawa Culture and Tourism Festival, welcome familiarisation and press trips, and study the operation of two to three round-trip charter flights between Japan and Da Nang.
From the romantic setting of the “Sea of Lights Party” to cyclo journeys imbued with local cultural identity, Enjoy Da Nang Festival 2026 is gradually affirming the city’s direction towards developing distinctive, high-quality tourism products.
