Themed “Ngoc Linh Ginseng - The Quintessence of World Medicinal Herbs,” the festival is scheduled to take place from August 1-3 at APEC Park and other Ngoc Linh ginseng and medicinal herb growing areas in the city.
The festival is expected to bring together approximately 60 booths from localities, businesses, and organisations both domestically and internationally, showcasing Ngoc Linh ginseng, other types of ginseng, and typical medicinal herbs from Viet Nam and abroad. Participating units will also introduce many products used in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, food, cosmetics, and medicinal herb processing technology.
Notably, the Da Nang International Ngoc Linh Ginseng and Medicinal Herb Festival 2026 connects two spaces: the Da Nang city centre and the Ngoc Linh ginseng region (Tra Linh, Tra Tap, Nam Tra My communes, etc.); and three values: conservation, development, and experience.
Through the festival, Da Nang city aims to develop a sustainable medicinal herb ecosystem; promoting the formation of a value chain from raw material development, research, technology transfer, deep processing to product commercialisation.
The event is also expected to become an annual national and international event, contributing to affirming the position of Ngoc Linh ginseng on the world medicinal herb map and promoting the image of Da Nang as a destination for medicinal herbs, health and wellness tourism, and innovation.
