The average occupancy rate at 4- to 5-star accommodation facilities and equivalent establishments is estimated to reach between 75% and 80%.
A total of 692 flights are expected to arrive in Da Nang over the five-day holiday period (from April 30 to May 4, 2025), according to Da Nang International Airport. This averages around 138 flights per day, including 57 international and 81 domestic flights. Of these, there will be 285 international flights (up 10% year-on-year) and 407 domestic flights (up 21%).
Additionally, a cruise ship, AIDASTELLA, will dock at Tien Sa Port, bringing approximately 2,000 multinational visitors from the US, UK, Germany, Canada, the Netherlands and other countries. Tourists will explore renowned destinations in Da Nang such as the Marble Mountains, Linh Ung Pagoda in Son Tra, and the Museum of Cham Sculpture.
The number of train passengers arriving in Da Nang during the holiday is estimated to reach around 13,243, a 10% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

In celebration of the holiday, Da Nang will host a wide range of seaside programmes and events to serve residents and visitors. These include the official launch of the 2025 beach tourism season, the “Da Nang Summer Wave” open-water swimming competition, an artistic check-in model exhibition, the Da Nang 2025 International Lifeguard Competition, a beach sports festival, and water sports performances.
A 3D Mapping show commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification will be presented at the Da Nang Museum.
As part of its 2025 tourism stimulus campaign “Enjoy Da Nang 2025 – Diverse Experience”, the city will offer attractive promotions including free entry and discounted services for international and domestic tourists, as well as return visitors from overseas.

To ensure safety and high-quality service during the peak holiday period, the Da Nang Department of Tourism has issued an official directive requesting all tourism service providers in the city to properly prepare for the influx of visitors and to organise events responsibly during the April 30 – May Day holiday.
The Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang’s tourist beaches has also been instructed to maintain safety and environmental hygiene at beach areas and on the peninsula during this period.
District-level People’s Committees have been tasked with strengthening public order, environmental sanitation, and preventing tourist harassment to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all visitors participating in tourism activities across the city.
