According to Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Da Nang Department of Tourism, the city has launched two major campaigns to boost tourism in 2025. The first, titled “Enjoy Da Nang – Multiple Experiences”, includes promotional drives such as the “National Day Celebration – September 2” and the “Welcome Christmas – New Year 2026” campaign, running until the end of the year.
The second campaign, “I Love Da Nang”, features various gifts and incentives to encourage the return of international tourists since 2020.
Visitors to Da Nang can look forward to a year-round calendar of dynamic festivals and events, including the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, the Asian Film Festival, the Opening of the Sea Tourism Season, the “Enjoy Da Nang” Festival, the Vietnam-ASEAN Festival, the Vietnam-Japan Festival, and the International Lion Dance Festival, along with festive celebrations welcoming Christmas and New Year 2026.
In addition, tourists can enjoy discounted entertainment and resort packages, explore Da Nang by night, and savour local cuisine at the city’s vibrant food stalls.
Meanwhile, Ha Giang also made a strong impression with its tourism booth at VITM Hanoi 2025. The Ha Giang People’s Committee organised a tourism promotion forum under the theme “Ha Giang – Asia’s Leading Cultural Destination” to highlight the province’s potential and cultural richness.

At the forum, Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director General of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, noted that Ha Giang is emerging as a regional and global destination thanks to its persistent promotion efforts. He encouraged local tourism businesses to innovate and develop unique products to enhance appeal and continue expanding effective marketing strategies to better reach both domestic and international visitors.
Vu The Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, emphasised that Ha Giang’s tourism sector should align with current global trends of digital and green transformation for sustainable growth.
The forum also featured lively discussions among experts, who shared insights on Ha Giang’s tourism advantages and development challenges, and proposed practical solutions for a more sustainable future.
