At a meeting on December 28, the Party leader said the council had fulfil its task of summarising a number of theoretical and practical issues on 30 years of reform and preparing literature for the upcoming Party national congress.
He also recognised the council’s efforts to promote international co-operation on political research, reform its operations, and strengthen co-ordination with Government agencies and local authorities.
General Secretary Trong noted that the council should further enhance its performance and align its operations with the agenda of the Politburo and other Party organs.
He asked the council to continue working on the report on Vietnam’s reform process so that it can be published in May 2015 as a reference material for Party congresses at all levels.
