Party official pays pre-Tet visit to Tien Giang Province

Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communications and Education, Nguyen Trong Nghia, visited and extended Tet (Lunar New Year) wishes to officers and soldiers of the border guard force in the Mekong River Delta Province of Tien Giang on February 3.

Party official Nguyen Trong Nghia appreciated the achievements of the officials and soldiers of the border guard force in Tien Giang Province, especially in their coordination with local authorities to help the locals promote socio-economic development.

He said that the border guard force’s missions are very challenging and complicated as managing and maintaining the country’s sovereignty and security closely follows the military station to take care of and support the local people in socio-economic development and ensuring national defence and security.

He asked the officers and soldiers to make more efforts to fulfil all assigned tasks.

On the occasion, the Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communications and Education, Nguyen Trong Nghia, presented 100 million VND to policy beneficiary families and revolutionary contributors in Tan Phuoc District and visited the Military Command of Go Cong Provincial-level Town (Tien Giang).

He also visited Truong Dinh Temple and Martyrs’ Cemetery of Go Cong Town and Go Cong Dong District, as well as visited and offered incense at Tan Dong Communal House and Go Cong Dong District.
