Visiting the family of late Professor, People's Teacher, and Labour Hero Tran Van Giau, on behalf of the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Politburo member Nguyen Van Nen, respectfully offered incense to commemorate the contribution to the education and scientific cause of the late Professor.
He emphasised that the late Professor and People’s Teacher Tran Van Giau is a shining example, who had a glorious revolutionary career, leaving invaluable cultural, historical and intellectual values for generations to learn and follow.
He suggested that local authorities and mass organisations regularly take care of and connect with the family of the late Professor, to preserve the values, treasures of knowledge, history, culture and revolutionary tradition of the late Professor, so that this place becomes an institution to educate the younger generation about patriotism.
During his visit to Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tan Phat, a former member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Minister of Education and Training, and former President of the Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City, Secretary Nen expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Professor, Dr. Phat, for his contribution to the education sector.
Emphasising the wish to always listen to suggestions on solutions and policies for the education sector, Secretary Nen expressed his belief that with his experience and enthusiasm, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tan Phat will continue to dedicate himself to helping develop the education sector of the city in particular and the country in general.
