The opening ceremony featured songs and dances praising the land, people, and achievements of Lang Son Province during its journey of development and integration.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, Duong Xuan Huyen, said that the festival is a prominent event in the culture, sports and tourism of Lang Son Province.
Taking place until March 9, the festival not only offers a colourful space for visitors to admire charming blooming peach blossoms but also includes a trade fair, sightseeing tours, a gardening contest, a painting competition, and musical performances.
A running competition, a trekking tour to Lang Son Geopark, and an art exchange between artists in Lang Son province, with those from Pingxiang City, China’s Zhuang Autonomous Region of Guangxi, are also scheduled during the festival.
