The event, organised in Hanoi to review the People’s Security Academy's achievement after 20 years of post-graduate training and discuss its orientations for development, was attended by Politburo member and Minister of Public Security General Tran Dai Quang.
Addressing the seminar, Minister Tran Dai Quang spoke of the key tasks for the academy, which has contributed greatly through education to protecting national security and maintaining social order, in the coming time.
He also asked the academy to continue improving the quality of the post-graduate training, especially the PhD training programmes, helping to provide high-quality human resources for the police and security services.
At the seminar, the delegates assessed the successes and shortcomings as well as discussed about the experiences and lessons learnt from 20 years of post-graduate training.
The participants also focused on solutions to associate scientific research activities with the mission of post-graduate training and to build and develop teaching and scientific cadre staff in both quality and quantity.
