Permanent Deputy Prime Minister extends Lunar New Year greetings to the Environmental Police Force

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh extended heartfelt regards, warm greetings, and best wishes for the Lunar New Year to former and present leaders, officers, and soldiers of the Environmental Police Force.

He emphasised that environmental protection is a critical and urgent issue, serving as a condition, foundation, and decisive factor for sustainable development. It is also an essential component in ensuring human security, political security, and social order and safety. Recognising its significance, the Party, State, and Government have identified environmental protection as one of the three pillars of sustainable development and have given it the highest priority in policymaking and governance.

In recent times, despite numerous challenges, efforts to safeguard national security and maintain social order and safety, including the fight against environmental crimes, violations of resource laws, and food safety regulations, have achieved remarkable results. These efforts have contributed to maintaining a stable and favourable environment, playing a crucial role in the nation's development and defence.

Emphasising that 2025 is expected to bring many difficulties and greater challenges, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh stressed that, in response to new demands and responsibilities, the Environmental Police Force must elevate its strategic thinking, embrace innovation and breakthroughs, and demonstrate high determination, great efforts, and decisive action.

Additionally, the force must continue to uphold its pioneering and exemplary role, taking the lead in accelerating and making breakthroughs in implementing the Party’s policies and guidelines, the State’s laws and regulations, and the Government’s resolutions and directives.
