On behalf of Party and State leaders, Permanent member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu extended New Year greetings and best wishes for good health and happiness to Pham The Duyet, former Politburo member and former Standing Member of the Politburo, as well as former Politburo members and former Permanent members of the Secretariat Phan Dien, Dinh The Huynh, and Tran Quoc Vuong.
Tran Cam Tu noted that following the success of the 14th National Party Congress, members of the Politburo and the Secretariat have actively participated in gratitude activities, paid visits and extended New Year wishes to heroic Vietnamese mothers, policy beneficiary families, officials, soldiers, and people nationwide, while urging the effective implementation of the Secretariat’s directive on organising the Lunar New Year to ensure a warm and joyful Tet for all.
Tran Cam Tu expressed hope that former leaders would continue to share their experience and wisdom, contributing to the successful realisation of the goals set by the 14th Party Congress, including preparations for upcoming National Assembly and People’s Council elections.
Informing former leaders of key orientations after the 14th Party Congress, Tran Cam Tu said Party work is being carried out urgently in the spirit of action, with nationwide conferences held to study, disseminate, and implement the Congress’s resolutions.
Expressing appreciation for the attention from Party and State leaders, former leaders voiced confidence in the sound leadership and strategic decisions of the Party Central Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat, affirming that strong determination, social consensus, and concrete results would lay a solid foundation for the country’s breakthrough development in the new period.
On the same day, Nguyen Duc Hai, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, led a delegation to pay Tet visits and present gifts to people with meritorious service, policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged groups in Da Nang City.
NA Vice Chairman Duc Hai offered flowers and incense in tribute to late Chairman of the Council of State Vo Chi Cong at the memorial site in Tam Xuan Commune, expressing deep respect and gratitude for his significant contributions to the revolutionary cause and national development.
During the visit, he presented gifts to policy beneficiary families, families with meritorious service to the revolution and disadvantaged households in Tam Xuan and Chien Dan communes. The delegation also visited and presented gifts to social welfare institutions, including mental health care centers, social protection centres, associations for the blind, and organisations supporting fallen soldiers’ families in Da Nang.
