Divided into three parts, the "Truong Sa’s Vitality - Youth Colours" exhibition features150 authentic photos, introducing the most vibrant moments on beloved Truong Sa to those on the mainland.
In the "Truong Sa’s Vitality" section, vivid images reflect life on the islands and the DK1 platform, as well as the operation of the related forces in firmly defending national sovereignty over Vietnam’s sea and islands.
The “Youth Colours” part introduces photos depicting the wholehearted sentiment and actions by the youth across the nation towards Truong Sa.
Meanwhile, the "Nation’s Sovereignty over Sea and Islands" segment presents the map of Vietnam along with the national flags transferred from 33 islands in Truong Sa, the DK1 and ships operating on the sea, as well as documents on Vietnam’s sovereignty over Truong Sa.
The event is co-hosted by the Youth Club for National Sea and Islands, the Vietnam Youth Museum and Youth Union units throughout the country. It aims to raise public awareness and a sense of responsibility in younger generations and all social strata in protecting and affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over its sea and islands, as well as in managing the exploitation and use of marine resources in an effective and sustainable manner.
In addition to Ecopark in Hung Yen’s Van Giang district, the exhibition will also come to Hung Yen Museum, Hanoi-based Vietnam University of Commerce, Hanoi’s Hoang Van Thu High School, Da Lat city (Lam Dong province) and Hanoi National University of Education, from March 9 to April 22.
As part of the programme, the organisers will issue postcards to raise funds for "Green Truong Sa" to support the families of officers, soldiers and people on the archipelago. A range of seminars exchanging information, art performances and photo auctions will also be scheduled.
